I search the internet and find out printing out 12×12 digital scrapbook pages on some sites are not cheap. If doing it at home, you may need to purchase a wide format printer and ink cartridges. Compare to traditional scrapbooking, will digital scrapbooking really cheaper in the long run?

How should I date my digital photography prints?
Friday, April 8th, 2011I am about to print a bunch of my photos for friends and family and I want to sign the photos with my initials and a date. I’m just not sure if the date should be when the photo was taken or when I printed it?
Also a side question… Is sharpie ok to sign prints with, is it archival? Is there something better to use?

dpi values for printing digital images from photoshop?
Thursday, April 7th, 2011Well I just had the unfortunate experience of not knowing what I was doing in terms of dpi resolution in an image that I painted in photoshop, and when it came time to print it, let’s just say it was less than splendid.
The problem, as I understand it is that I painted the image at 75 dpi. But I’m wondering is there a way–that will make a difference–that I can increase the dpi, after having painted it, so that I can print the image at a higher resolution? Thanks
